Constitutional Court judge Mojmír Mamojka in contact with mobster Marian Kočner
Constitutional Court (CC) judge and former Smer MP, Mojmír Mamojka, was in contact with mobster Marian Kočner, according to the police wiretaps of Kočner. Mamojka agreed to meet Kočner just two weeks before Kočner was arrested in the summer of 2018. Kočner then sent his go-between to Mamojka to lobby for his release from jail. First, Mamojka denied any contacts with Kočner and now is downplaying them. He emphasizes that his CC senate ruled in 2018 to keep Kočner in jail. Ivan Fiačan, CC chief justice, is considering whether to file a disciplinary motion against Mamojka.
