The average wage in the economy rose 6.7% last year to €1,101, according to data of platy.sk. This was the second-highest growth rate in the past decade. The median salary was €1,009; i.e., half of Slovaks earn more. The average salary in Bratislava was €1,484 and 17% of employees here earned over €2,000. The top five highest-paid jobs include IT architect (€3,024), iOS coder, lawyer, tax adviser, and IT security specialist.
