Martin Kúšik, Penta’s ex-partner, will take full control over sporting goods retailer Sportisimo by buying out its founders, Vietnamese-Czech businessmen Don Hong Son and Thai Ngoc Nguyen. Kúšik acquired his current 50% stake in 2016. The chain has 105 stores in Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, and Romania. It is the market leader in Slovakia with 44 stores and €64m in sales in 2018, ahead of chains Intersport and Decathlon.
