The number of new apartments for sale in Bratislava rose to 2,200 in the final quarter of 2019, according to data of Lexxus, a realtor. The number bottomed out at 1,900 in mid-2019, the lowest number since 2008. In mid-2017, developers were offering as many as 4,500 new apartments. The uptick stems from several large projects hitting the market, mainly Ovocné sady and Eurovea 2, both offered by J&T Real Estate. The price of new apartments rose 10% annually, to €2,502 per sqm excluding VAT.
