OTP Bank will leave Slovak market by the end of June

OTP Bank of Hungary announced that it will leave the Slovak market by the end of June and will expand in Slovenia instead. The exit follows its inability to push its market share above 3%. In 2009-18, it lost €38.3m here. ČSOB, Tatra banka and Penta showed an interest in its Slovak assets but it is unclear whether and to whom the Slovak branch will be sold.
