Banks are testing cashless branches
Tatra banka canceled all cash transactions at seven of its branches at the end of last year. It wants to limit costly cash transactions and let bank employees focus on consulting and sale of products. Each cashless branch has an ATM allowing cash deposits and withdrawals. ČSOB has two cashless branches. OTP Banka has been testing cashless regime at 16 of its branches since September.
