Oerlikon Balzers Coating expands in Košice

The Economy Ministry proposed a €3.2m stimulus for a €9m investment from Swiss automotive supplier Oerlikon Balzers Coating in its plant in Veľká Ida. The investment will increase the plant’s capacity for making diesel engine parts fourfold and create 110 new jobs. Back in 2015, the plant was granted a €4m investment stimulus and it has drawn €0.9m of that so far. Last year, the plant had €21.2m in sales.
