Regulator ÚRSO approved a 10% hike in next year’s price of electricity for households to small supplier Magna Energia. The hike came in response to a 24% increase in the price of electricity on commodity exchanges. Electricity itself accounts for over a third of the total price, the rest being distribution, subsidies for photovoltaic and coal power plants, and various other fees. ÚRSO will approve power prices for the large suppliers ZSE, VSE and SSE at the end of this year.
