Low unemployment is reducing employers’ demands on potential workers
Unemployment falling to all-time lows is reducing employers’ demands on their potential workers. Back in 2016, 15% of all job ads required university education and the share fell to 12% this year, according to data of profesia.sk, a jobs portal. The same trend is visible with foreign language requirements. Fully 43% of job ads required English language proficiency in 2016 and just 38% do now. With the German language, the shares were 12% and 10%.
