Slovakia has fast and expensive internet
Globally, Slovakia has fast internet speeds but also high mobile data charges. Cable, a site that compared prices at the end of 2018, reckons 1 GB of mobile data costs €4.62 in Slovakia on average. India has the lowest prices, just €0.22, and Finland has the lowest prices in the EU (€1). Of V4 countries, only Hungary is more expensive than Slovakia, with €5.86, while the average price in Czechia is €4.38, in Poland €1.18 and in Austria €1.68. Internet speeds are the fastest in Taiwan, and 37 countries in Europe made it among the TOP50. Slovakia ranks 23rd in the word.
