Falck won’t provide emergency rescue services in Slovakia

Danish firm Falck announced it won’t provide emergency rescue services in Slovakia once its current licenses for 107 such stations expire next year. It will not take part in the current tender, without giving any reasons. Its stations employ 1,400. It received the current licenses in 2009 in tandem with a secret partner, most likely Juraj Široký. He is selling his 49% stake now.

Falck also runs polyclinics, fire services and emergency health services in Slovakia. It will continue these activities.
