Teachers’ wages will start at €930

The Finance Ministry has prepared a National Program of Reforms that talks about higher pay for teachers. Their wages will start at €930, which is more than the regional average wage in Prešov and Žilina. Teachers’ wages rose by 10% as of January 1 and the government plans a further 9.5% hike as of September 1 and a 10% increase as of January 2020.
