TV Markíza for sale
CME, a TV group that is part of Time Warner (AT&T) and owns TV Markíza, is conducting a review of strategic alternatives to maximize shareholder value. These may include the sale of part or all of the company, a merger with a strategic partner, or a recapitalization. Penta partner Jaroslav Haščák said Penta had agreed on all terms to buy TV Markíza in 2017, including price, but Time Warner rejected the deal in the end.
