Fintech Finax gained a €1.5m investment from venture capital fund Growws
Local start-up Finax (Juraj Hrbatý), which develops smart investing solutions, gained a €1.5m investment from venture capital fund Growws. It will use the new funding to expand to other CEE markets this year and improve its technology. The fund is backed by Peter Irikovský (Slevomat Group), Ivan Chrenko (HB Reavis) and Michal Pastier (Zaraguza). Finax offers an online robo-advisor for passive investing via ETF index funds. It aspires to build the largest corporate finance dept. in Slovakia and compete with banks by helping SMEs issue bonds and shares.
