The government will support chip development by Tachyum

The government approved a €15m loan to Tachyum (Rado Danilák) for the development of new chip to be used in datacenters. Tachyum will develop software for the chip in a new research center in Bratislava that will gradually create 150 jobs. Danilák has already gotten engineering proof for his new chip and wants to launch production by the end of 2020. In the past, Danilák took part in developing a new generation of laptop SSD flash drives and he has two successful multi-million dollar exits from his start-ups under his belt (Sandforce and Skyera).
