About 30-50% of car dealerships will go out of business by 2025
About 30-50% of car dealerships will go out of business by 2025 as car makers will increasingly sell cars directly. Car dealers will only service the cars and be used by customers to pick up their new cars, according to a survey by KPMG among a thousand top managers in the automotive sector. Volvo is already considering doing away with car dealers in Czechia. Clients now chose their cars via internet and often buy a car after just one visit to a showroom. Fifteen years ago, the average number of visits was 8-10.
