Apartment prices in Bratislava have already surpassed the pre-crisis level also due to insufficient supply. Only 2,873 apartments in new projects were on the market at the end of 2018, the lowest number in 15 years. At the moment, developers have at least 11 projects with over 500 apartments in the pipeline. The largest project is Slnečnice (Cresco), with 1,250 completed apartments and 10,000 planned in 2030. Over a thousand apartments should be built both in Western (Bory by Penta) and Eastern Bratislava (by Nordic Investors in Vajnory). Projects with about a thousand apartments include Ovocné sady (J&T Real Estate), Kopčianska Juh (Lucron) and Klingerka 2 (J&T Real Estate). Zwirn (YIT) will create 800 apartments and projects Eurovea 2 (J&T Real Estate), Portum (TK Estate), Nová Cvernovka (Finep) and Vydrica (Urbicom and Lucron) about 500 apartments.
