Bratislava city districts do not invest
The Bratislava city districts have collected €9.6m in a local development fee over the past two years. By law, they have allocated a third of the revenue to the city of Bratislava, and could have invested the rest, €6.5m, into their own infrastructure. So far, they have only invested €0.7m and no investment boom is underway this year either. Petržalka, for instance, has not spent a cent of €0.5m it has collected. Politicians are apparently preparing large investment projects for the election year of 2022.
