Anasoft will supply IT system for just €12
At the end of last year, IT firm Anasoft won a contract to supply a system used by game parlors to check whether clients are in the Excluded Persons Registry (and can be admitted to gamble). It will supply the system for just €12, plus €0.7m for a 5-year service. The Interior Ministry estimated the price (supply+service) at €2.6m, and companies bid €1.5-2.7m in a tender. Then, an electronic auction pushed the price to just €12. Anasoft would not explain why it went from its initial bid of €1.4m to €12.
