Salini Impregilo has no plans to leave the Višňové tunnel
Italian company Salini Impregilo has no plans to leave the Višňové tunnel but wants to agree on new terms with the state, according to sources of the HN daily. It is demanding €160m on top of the contractual price of €410m. If the state terminates its contract, it risks a much greater price increase, large delay, and the loss of EU funds. Salini Impregilo is late with payments to its suppliers, such as Skanska and Proma. The state will decide by February 28, but contract termination seems to be the likely option.
