Workers with enough experience will get a university degree without attending university

The coalition party SNS wants to allow workers with enough experience to get a university degree without the need to attend university. “If a student gets a bachelor degree after three years of study, and start to work, he or she need not study for another two years to get Ing. or Mgr. degree. The work experience will suffice,“ explained Martina Lubyová (SNS), Education Minister. The degree would be awarded by a special committee consisting of employers’ and universities’ representatives. In Czechia, such a system is already in place—special committees verify one’s knowledge and award degrees.
