Slovakia’s catch up growth has stalled

Actual individual consumption (AIC), a measure of material welfare, came to 76% of the EU average in Slovakia last year, reported Eurostat. Similarly, GDP per capita in Slovakia stood at 76% of the EU average; it was 77% in 2014 and Slovakia’s catch up growth has stalled since then. IAC and GDP, both in per capita terms and adjusted for purchasing power standard, as a share of EU average in 2017:
