Justice Minister provides legal representation to fraudsters

The Kolozsi and Kertész families from Southern Slovakia trade in oil and fuel and enjoy luxury lifestyles. Their companies have high turnovers, but zero profits and leave high tax debts behind. Those companies with tax debts are “sold” to strawmen. They faced several lawsuits for fraudulent VAT refunds, but won, also thanks to being represented by the current Justice Minister Gábor Gál (Most-Híd). Gál reports profits in the hundreds of thousand euros also thanks to these cases. Czech tax authority has also filed charges against the families.
