Internet bank 365, owned by Poštová banka (J&T), launched its services on Monday. It offers a free current account with a debit card. It won’t have brick-and-mortar branches, and clients can open an account via its mobile phone app, thanks to video chat. It is aiming for 200,000 clients within five years. Next year, it will start selling consumer credit and investment products.
Last year, another online bank, Zuno, wound up. 365 will compete with mBank, as well as foreign online banks such as N26 and Revolut.
