U.S. Steel Košice won a €50m court case

The Košice Regional Court ruled that the contract between U.S. Steel Košice and Adam & Co., an US consultancy, is invalid and the steel mill need not pay the consultancy €50m. In the past, courts blocked most of the land under the steel mill based on the consultancy’s request. Adam & Co. can appeal the verdict. It says the steel mill used its know-how backs in the 1990s but did not pay for it.
