Danko wants to be like Orbán and Kaczyńsky

“My political vision is the same as that of Viktor Orbán and Jaroslaw Kaczyńsky,” said Andrej Danko, SNS leader and Speaker of Parliament. Under their leadership, Hungary and Poland have launched attacks on NGOs, and suppressed the free media, independent institutions, and the judiciary. Corruption is flourishing in Hungary. The EU has launched proceedings that might lead to stripping their voting rights. Danko, though, says that both are “defending their countries’ interests." SNS will therefore push for a strong centralized state, state control over the media and retailers, more social benefits, and higher investments into education and culture.
