Mafra (Andrej Babiš) is buying dozens of Slovak and Czech magazines
Czech media group Mafra (Andrej Babiš) is buying dozens of Slovak and Czech magazines from the German publisher Bauer Media. In Slovakia, they include titles such as Rytmus života, Eurotelevízia, and Naša Záhrada. Price was not disclosed. Bauer Media also owns Slovakia’s most popular radio station, Expres, but the radio is not being sold. Mafra publishes Slovakia’s business daily Hospodárske noviny as well as magazines Evita, Téma, Stratégie, and Zdravotnícke noviny. Last year, Bauer Media had €8.9m sales in Slovakia.
