Pavol Krúpa is leaving Arca Capital
Pavol Krúpa is leaving Arca Capital, the firm he set up with Peter Krištofovič. The new majority shareholder is Rastislav Velič (55%). Peter Krištofovič has a 30% stake and Heinrich Kiš 10%. The ownership change reflects the firm’s new focus as a strategic private equity investor. Krúpa was an opportunistic investor. He will receive tens of millions of euros for his stake. Velič’s key priority will be to complete the takeover of Wiener Privatbank, an Austrian bank, which has been blocked by the Czech central bank.
