Avast acquired the Slovak firm Inloopx

Czech anti-virus company Avast acquired the Slovak firm Inloopx that develops applications for mobile devices and smart homes. Avast wants to boost its development team. Inloopx, which employs 140, has its HQ in Žilina and offices in Bratislava, Banská Bystrica, Prague, Ostrava, Stuttgart and Sunnyval. Last year, it posted a 6% drop in net profit to €0.6m, but its sales surged 30% to €6.1m.
