Peter Kažimír among candidates for European Central Bank’s Executive Board

The mandate of three members of the European Central Bank’s Executive Board expires next year, and Slovak finance minister Peter Kažimír is among the candidates to fill the vacancies, according to The Banker magazine. The members are appointed by the European Council. Slovak media speculate that next year, Kažimír will take up the post of governor of the Slovak central bank NBS.
