DM drogerie markt retailer changed its loyalty program

DM drogerie markt retailer changed its loyalty program, among the largest in Slovakia with over 1m users, as of May 3. It terminated cooperation with Cards & Systems, which provided clients with points to exchange for coupons and discounts, and opted for the system of the Payback company, which has been running the program for the chain in Germany for 17 years. Clients will now collect points that they will exchange for discounts. In Slovakia, DM is the only Payback client, while in Austria its program is shared by over 60 retailers, DM being one of them. The new system is less lucrative for DM clients.
