The cabinet approved €10.1m in investment assistance for five companies that plan to invest €69.5m and create 1,150 jobs in Western Slovakia. Dongil Rubber Belt will get a €2.0m tax break for its €19.1m expansion of its rubber seal plant in Považská Bystrica. By 2020, it will create 150 jobs. ZF Slovakia will receive a €4.3m tax break for its €17m expansion of its shock absorber plant in Levice. It will create 750 jobs by 2022. Röchling Automotive will obtain a €1.1m tax break for a €16.9m investment into a new plastics car component plant near Nové Mesto nad Váhom. It will create 77 jobs by 2020. Pankl Automotive was approved for a €1.6m tax break for a €12.1m technological center for transmission and engine covers in Topoľčany. It will create 120 jobs by 2021. Swiss firm Optotune will get a €1.3m direct subsidy for a €0.5m research center in Trnava with 50 engineers.
