18.01.2018

The government will ease restrictions on employing non-EU foreigners as of May 1, announced Deputy Labor Minister Branislav Ondruš (Smer). The list of scarce professions will be drafted by a special committee made of representatives of the government, employers, and labor unions. Companies want to hire workers from Ukraine and Serbia, but it takes 6-9 months to get them work permits.
