Bourbon Automotive Plastics expands in Nitra
The Nitra plant of the French plastics car parts maker Bourbon Automotive Plastics plans to expand its paint shop and warehouses by 9,000 sqm. An unspecified investment will increase the total area of its plant to 40,000 sqm and workforce by 30 to 460. It won a contract to supply the new Nitra car plant of Jaguar Land Rover that will launch production at the end of this year. Its first model will be the Land Rover Discovery. In the financial year ending on September 30, 2017, the plant increased its sales 9% to €55m, and its net profit stagnated at €4.9m.
