Porsche wants a new plant in Slovakia

German car maker Porsche, part of the Volkswagen Group, is allegedly planning to build a new plant for making parts of electric cars in Horná Streda near Piešťany. The car maker has already bought 20 ha of land near the highway. The German maker of luxury cars already has one car parts plant in Slovakia—it employs 170 workers in Dubnica nad Váhom in making pressed tools.
